Use of personal information

1. Okazaki Instruments Design Office will ask for your personal information in the following instances:

• When you order a product from us.
• When you purchase a product from us.
• When you ask us to repair a product.
• When you use our homepage service.
• Note: Provision, correction, termination of personal information should be done by the subject personally
• Customers 15 years old and under require the consent of their guardian.

2. Okazaki Instruments Design Office will use personal information received from customers for after-sales service, questionnaires and direct mailings to improve our service, to mail catalogues, and to contact customers regarding our products and orders, purchase and repair requests.

Security

1. Personal information protection directive
In line with the Personal Information Protection Act and our Privacy Policy, we will strictly manage the personal information we receive from our customers with the utmost security and secrecy.

2. We will not release the customer's personal information to any third parties, except in the following circumstances:

• When we are legally required to provide it.
• If we determine that the customer's life, health, or assets are jeopardised.
• If we are requested by a court, the police, or some other national or regional public body.

3. Changes to the privacy policy
We may change our privacy policy without notifying the customer. If there is any major change, we will post it on our homepage in an easy-to-understand manner.

Delivery charge: free
Payment term: As a rule, please pay upfront. Since we ship after receiving payment, there is no particular payment term limit.
Cancellations: Since production starts upon receiving the order, as a rule we cannot accept cancellations.
Defective goods: Provided that the customer informs us within 7 days of receiving the product, those that we inspect and determine to be originally defective.
Returns: We will repair or exchange only originally defective goods or those that differ from the order, provided that the customer informs us within 7 days of delivery. Please understand that we cannot accept returns or exchanges for any other reason or if we are informed more than 7 days after delivery of the product.
Return delivery charge: Free only in the event we have agreed with the customer to cover the charge prior to delivery.
Delivery term: Upon receiving your order, we will inform you via e-mail or telephone of the planned construction completion and shipping dates. As a rule, this will be within six months.

Total care

1. One person will be in charge of construction, from selecting the wood, building the instrument, checking the sound, and shipping. The same technician will provide the owner with after-sales maintenance and support service. By having a single technician provide the total care for each individual instrument, the owner can enjoy a high standard of security and satisfaction.

2. We promise Total Care, one year free warranty, and a lifetime warranty beyond that to the owner named on the Owner's Sheet that we send to the customer signed by the technician. The technician will always respond to the customer's queries and provide appropriate support. We provide a close, personal relationship with the owner

Warranty

1. Okazaki Instruments Design Office Product Lifetime Guarantee
We offer with gratitude a lifetime guarantee of our products to their owners who continually treat them with care. At the request of the owner named on the owner's sheet, we will repair or replace our products as necessary as they age. However, the owner must cover the costs of consumables, broken parts and transport.

2. Okazaki Instruments Design Office Product Free Guarantee
We guarantee our products free of charge for one year from delivery. However, the following are exceptions to the free guarantee:

• Defects, damage, or breakage due to inappropriate handling
• Defects, damage, or breakage due to foreign objects being attached or inserted
• Defects, damage, or breakage due to natural calamaties or use of other products
• If it is repaired or modified by anyone other than us
• Regular maintenance or replacement of consumables (strings, batteries, etc.)
